This Privacy Policy explains how Tethr collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our AI coaching platform across web and mobile experiences.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly or generate through your use of Tethr. This may include account identifiers such as your email address from authentication, profile information such as your name, avatar, bio, birthday, and interests, temporary guest-session identifiers, subscription and payment metadata, device tokens used for push notifications, and records of activity such as followed coaches, reviews, saved content, and feature usage.
Conversation, Media, and Usage Data
When you interact with Tethr coaches, we store direct-message sessions, message content, timestamps, read state, reminder state, uploaded files, and records of text-to-speech and image-generation usage. If you upload images, audio, video, documents, or other media, we may process that content to support conversation, coaching, safety, and media features.
How We Use Information
We use your information to authenticate users, operate the service, personalize AI coach responses, maintain conversation history, enforce plan and usage limits, process payments, sync subscriptions, send account and coach notifications, troubleshoot and monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve Tethr's features and reliability.
Service Providers and Platform Integrations
We may share information with service providers that help us run Tethr, including providers for authentication and push notifications, subscription management, billing and payment processing, cloud hosting and storage, AI generation, speech and audio features, and operational support.
Retention and Account Deletion
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve account continuity, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect Tethr and its users. If you delete your account, we delete or soft-delete associated profile and in-app records, but may retain limited billing, security, compliance, or audit data where necessary.
Your Choices and Rights
You can update certain profile information, manage subscriptions, and request account deletion through supported Tethr settings screens. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal and operational limits. If you disable notifications or decline platform permissions, some features may be limited or unavailable.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your own devices, credentials, and account access.
