Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Tethr, including the web portal, mobile applications, subscriptions, and AI coaching experiences. By creating an account, starting a guest session where available, or using Tethr, you agree to these Terms.
The Tethr Service
Tethr provides AI-powered coaching conversations, content, voice, and media features through automated coaches. Tethr coaches are not human providers, therapists, doctors, lawyers, or emergency responders. Tethr is intended for personal growth, reflection, and educational support, and should not be relied on for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or crisis care.
Accounts and Access
You may use Tethr through an authenticated account and, on some surfaces, through a temporary guest session. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, devices, and credentials, and for activity that occurs through them. If you move from a guest session to a registered account, Tethr may merge guest activity and conversation history into your account.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Tethr to break the law, harass or exploit others, upload malicious or infringing material, interfere with the service, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, evade usage limits or safety controls, or use the service in a way that creates risk for Tethr or other users. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for misuse, abuse, fraud, or security reasons.
AI Output and User Content
You retain rights in content you submit to Tethr, but you grant Tethr a license to host, process, transmit, analyze, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. AI-generated responses, images, summaries, and voice outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate, and you are responsible for how you interpret and use them. We may review or moderate content to enforce our policies and protect the platform.
Paid Features and Billing
Some features require a paid subscription or saved payment method. Depending on where you subscribe, billing may be processed through Apple, RevenueCat, Stripe, or other payment providers we use. Subscription renewals, expirations, cancellations, restores, and entitlement state may be synchronized with our backend. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable billing platform's rules.
Service Changes and Availability
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, coach experiences, pricing, subscription plans, and usage limits at any time. We do not guarantee that Tethr will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
Termination, Deletion, and Disclaimer
You may stop using Tethr at any time and may request account deletion through supported settings screens. We may retain limited data where necessary for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and audit purposes. Tethr is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Tethr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
